This session is 100% free and open to all Australian and New Zealand screen practitioners, whether you are attending Content London, considering the trip, or simply want to understand where global buyers are putting their money in 2026.

DAVID JENKINSON is an award-winning journalist and content technologist who manages a portfolio of digital, publishing, events, production and training companies within the international entertainment business. Having held senior editorial positions at Haymarket, International Thomson, EMAP and Cahners’ Moving Pictures International, he created and co-founded C21Media in 1997, one of the world's oldest-surviving digital businesses. C21 brands include C21Media.net, C21TV, Cveintiuno, Drama Quarterly, Channel21 international, Content London, Content Americas, Content Warsaw, Content Canada, Content India, Content Academy, The AI Festival, Create London and WritersRoom. Jenkinson is also founder of Studio21, a new-talent incubator with a mission to discover, develop and coproduce progressive series for a next gen audience. He also leads Media Enterprises, the C21-backed investment company that supports high-growth potential businesses within the content industry. Investments include Chudor House Films and Rose d'Or. Jenkinson was previously editor-in-chief of Moving Pictures International, running daily, weekly and monthly publications within the film business.

The traditional television economy has been rewritten. Shrinking platform commissions, shifting co-production models, direct-to-audience models, and new financing frameworks mean showing up to Content London with a 2024 playbook simply won't work.

David will provide an insider preview into the Content London 2026 agenda, designed around helping producers adapt, survive, and monetise in "The New Content Economy."

In this time of fundamental transformational change, David will pull back the curtain on the macro trends, buyer movements, and structural shifts driving this year's market agenda—giving Australian and New Zealand producers an unmatched strategic advantage before landing in London.
